Devil gift guidelines

  1. Nothing dangerous, vulgar, alcoholic, or expired
  2. Nothing about someone's body, looks, religion, politics, or private life
  3. No used or secondhand personal items
  4. Small enough to carry in one hand (nothing big or heavy)
  5. Devil gifts skip wishes: no blooming, no petals

Guessing and Top Detective

  • Secret angel: on swap day the host taps Start guessing, and everyone guesses who their angel is. The only clues are your angel's note, the number of anonymous waterings and how the gift is coming.
  • Mystery match: givers look at the wishes and guess the recipient.
  • 1 required question plus up to 5 bonus questions; each correct answer is 1 point. Not scored when there are only two people.
  • When everyone has guessed or time's up, the host's reveal shows who got it right. Once everyone is revealed, the most correct guesses wins "Top Detective" (ties share it; no award if nobody guessed right), +3 petals each.
  • The host can also skip the guessing and reveal right away (no Top Detective). Open-pairing exchanges have no guessing.

Hint and guess the gift, and Top Guesser

  • Posting a hint: once your gift is ready (paid, or after you tap I'm ready), you can give everyone one hint: initials or a one-line riddle. You must also enter what you're giving as the answer (hidden until the reveal).
  • The initials rule: the first letter of every word, digits as they are, no tones (Water Bottle → WB). Chinese characters contribute their first Zhuyin symbol. It's made for you and you can edit it.
  • Who can guess: everyone in the draw gives one answer per gift (not your own gift; the gift for you is fine). Answers can change until the lock and stay private; comments are public and not scored.
  • What counts: exact matches count automatically; the giver ticks close ones; the host can change decisions after the reveal. One point per gift, not per character. Results come out at the reveal, without saying who judged.
  • When answers flip: the lock comes when the host starts the guessing round (open pairing: when the host reveals), and everyone's answers become visible. Each reveal shows the answer and who got it. Once everything is revealed, the most correct guesses wins Top Guesser (+3 petals, ties share it; no award with fewer than 3 people or if nobody got any right).

Wishes, voting, photos, and history

  • All wishes grow in one gift exchange meadow. Open pairs: anyone can tap to see them. Other modes: other plants show only the grass, and they don't appear on personal meadows until the reveal.
  • One vote per category, and not for a gift you gave. You'll see the counts after voting. Who voted for whom stays private.
  • Photos: visible only to members of the exchange; uploads open at the reveal or on the exchange day (whichever is first) and close 30 days after the exchange day. The uploader and the host can delete a photo, and anyone in it can tap "I'm in this photo, remove it". The host can let other members share the group photo card; if not, only the host and the photo's uploader can share the last recap card, "Our group photo".
  • Exchanges move to History 7 days after the reveal (they also end if there's no reveal within 30 days after exchange day).

Hosting outside Taiwan (overseas group)

Pick the event region when you create an exchange (US, Japan, Malaysia, and more). Budgets use the local currency (USD, JPY, etc., no exchange-rate conversion), and the deadline, automatic draw (next day 9:00), and exchange day follow local time. In overseas groups, everyone brings their own gift. Growish buying only ships to Taiwan addresses, so there's no [Growish delivers] or [Paste a link]. Wishes, the draw, the reveal, and recap cards all work as usual. In a Taiwan group, if a member's address is overseas, their giver brings the gift too.
